    Bring on your Fannish Music!  The Dragon*Con Filk track is excited to announce its first Performers Showcase on Saturday, from 5:30PM until 7:00 PM in the Hyatt International South!  Fannish musical performers of all kinds (keep it PG please) are welcome to sign up in advance in the Filk Room starting Friday at the Early Meet and Greet and ending Saturday afternoon at the InstaFilk!

    We will determine the final number of songs and amount of time per performer after signup is complete, but each performer should be prepared to deliver up to three songs for a maximum performance time of ten minutes.

    Space is limited, so it’s first come, first filk! Email dconfilk@gmail.com with your information. If you sign up via email, please remember to check in with us in the track room before Saturday afternoon for confirmation, please.

    So What the Heck is a Two-Fer?

    The Filk Track introduces Two-Fers this year, a concept gleefully gleeped from other filk conventions and twisted to suit!

    Two-fers are fan performances where you get to perform! Pick your two favorite filks (Ten minutes per performance, please) and share them with the audience Saturday afternoon beginning at 2:30 PM.

    Sign-up forms will be available in the Track Room from Friday Meet and Greet until 1pm on Saturday. Can’t find them? Ask one of the track staff in the room where we’re hiding it!

    Keep it clean, please (PG or G) and either a cappella or instrument accompanied!

    If enough people sign up, we’ll continue with Two-Fers Part II on Sunday!
